Dr Petroff graduated from the University of Queensland in 1997 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She completed the requirements of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists’ Fellowship in Sydney in 2006.

From 2006-2013 she was employed as a consultant psychiatrist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital with the Early Psychosis Team.

Dr Petroff has a special interest in anxiety and mood disorders, psychological illness in the context of cancer and trauma related illness.

Dr Mary Jessop is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Since completing her training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2001, she has worked in both public and private practice, and inpatient and community settings.

Dr Jessop has extensive experience in the management of mental health difficulties in children and adolescents. Her approach is family focused and recognizes the important role of parents in supporting young people who are experiencing difficulties.

Qualifications: MBBS (UQ), FRANZCP, Cert. Child Adol. Psych.
Special Interests: Trauma related disorders, Families of parents with chronic illness, Attachment focused therapy, Early intervention
Treatments: Individual Therapy (including Psychotherapy, CBT), Trauma focused interventions, Family Therapy, Medication (as indicated).

Dr Sharon Foley is a senior consultant psychiatrist, specialising in psychiatry since 2002.

She has expertise in the field of Early Psychosis in youth, having completed an MD and published widely in the area of First Episode Psychosis.

She was the consultant psychiatrist of the Metro South Early Psychosis team for 9 years. She is currently the Lead psychiatrist at the Mater Emotional Health Unit for young adults and runs a small private practice at Bellmount House where she treats high prevalence mental health difficulties in young adults and adults. She has a particular interest in ADHD in youth.

Dr Kristina McLennan is a psychiatrist based in Spring Hill, Brisbane. With over 20 years of experience including 13 in private practice, she is dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care to her patients. Dr McLennan holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Queensland and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). Her specialty is Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Dr McLennan has extensive experience treating young people with anxiety, depression and neurodevelopmental issues such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Her particular areas of interest include adolescents, recognizing the unique challenges they face, young adults (18 – 25 years of age) and particularly enjoys providing psychotherapy. Dr McLennan is open to accepting psychotherapy patients of any age. Dr McLennan emphasizes a collaborative approach, working closely with both the young person and their parents to develop effective treatment plans.

As a registered medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Dr McLennan is committed to delivering safe and evidence-based care. With her extensive knowledge and compassionate approach, Dr Kristina McLennan is determined to make a positive impact on the mental well-being of her patients.

Maya is currently studying Psychology at the University of Queensland. Outside of uni and work, she loves trying new activities with family and friends, as well as spending time with her 3 cats.

When Lisa is not at Bellmount House, she enjoys reading, watching hockey and spending time with her family including her 2 dogs – Buddy and Ivy
